Mock Survey

The mock survey consists of a 3-day onsite survey designed to align with the state and federal survey process. The mock survey includes a full debriefing and a detailed report summarizing the findings. Mock surveys are beneficial for preparing your facility for state and federal surveys by allowing the facility to identify and address potential noncompliance proactively. If potential high-level noncompliance, such as harm or immediate jeopardy, is identified a focused survey may be recommended.

Partial/Focused Mock Surveys

These surveys are conducted for focused areas of concern identified by the facility or special areas of concern identified by CMS as areas of focus. We have extensive experience with abuse, neglect, and exploitation, elopement, fall reduction/prevention, dementia care, and admission/transfer/discharge requirements. Other examples of Partial/Focused Mock surveys include infection control, psychotropic medication use, pressure ulcers, MDS and care planning, etc. The Partial/Focused Mock survey can be conducted onsite or through off-site chart review depending on the needs of your facility.

POC/AOC support
